Alright folks, truck is back from repairs. Shop did an EXCELLENT job. You could tell how passionate they were about their work. Took me through all the repair pics and process. Alignment is perfect and knock on wood, no issues so far. I was able to snap a couple quick pics this morning.

Since the truck was due for brakes, I knocked that on Saturday as the snow was falling. Base powerstop kit P/N KOE6268. I live in the rust belt, so the rotors took a little "convincing" with a sledge to come loose. I coated the surfaces with anti-seize to make next time easier. Otherwise very easy job, just make sure you put the pads with the "ears" on the inside for the fronts. I went through the break-in procedure last night to get the initial layer of friction material distributed per the instructions.

Thanks Russ! Very happy with the work. The shop has a great reputation in the area and I'm glad I went with them.

Side note, winter is around the corner and they said I couldn't wax it for 2 months so the paint can cure and off-gas. I can almost hear the salt chewing through the fresh new finish....

I would have pushed for a new steering gear. The EPAS does not like to take blows like that and it is very expensive to repair if it fails.

Thanks all! Very happy aesthetically and the truck tracks straight.

Only issue now is that after a day or 2 of driving, I've noticed a "creaking" sound from the front end. Brought in into the shop today and had the tech listen and he agreed something is not right. The did a quick check of body mounts, etc... and came up empty. Made an apt for after the holidays to give them some more time with it. Shop has been great to work with.

Happy/safe Christmas and Holidays to all!
