Ya, actually had purchased a race red 2017 from the dealer. Kicker was they had to install tow mirrors. About 24 hours after the purchase I get a call, they’re stating that the tow mirrors won’t work on my truck and that all features will be manual. I said NO WAY and that I’m bringing the truck back and taking my old truck and headed to a new dealer. About 30 minutes later they contact me saying they found a new truck comparably equipped with tow mirrors. It’s a 2018 and they want another three grand difference. Again I say no way and that they made a deal they can’t honor. Few more minutes on the phone and they offer an additional grand trade on my truck, offer a spray in bedliner and price is now about 1800 bucks difference.
I was getting a bit more excited as the 2018 had 3.55 elec. locking rear. Other rig had standard 3.31. This rig was also equipped with max tow and navigation, and of course the tow mirrors that started all this. Funny thing though the options added up to about the same price. In the end I agreed. Next morning went to sign papers and give them their 2017 back. When we got there they had found another grand in incentives. This changed the overall price to within about 600 bucks and hey I now also have a spray in bedliner. I signed and walked away with a year newer rig, better equipped for about 4 dollars difference over the life of the loan. I’m a happy guy.
That’s not too bad, it may just be me, but i think the regular 2015+ mirrors are ugly, but i like the look of the tows.
I got the STX package I do like the new grilles on the other new models but I love the open grille look (coming from an 06), and I like how this year its not an stx sticker its actually incorporated into the badging. super crew, short bed, 5.0, FX4. Installed a 2" leveling kit, and how great is sport mode?

I like the Blue Jeans paint. Iwas looking at an f250 in Blue Jeans last year. Magnetic has been calling to me for a couple of years and I had to answer the call on the new f150.
