I see your engine and rear end combination would certainly warrant a lot of that. But having had several 429's, and realizing that those big blocks have more torque off idle than most small blocks have at wide open throttle. They are a lot of fun. But it comes with a price.

Yes it does. It sure is fun but she gobbles the gas.

That's why they come with gas tanks! I really like the way you did the front trim all in chrome, rather than mixing chrome with anodized. That's the way I went.

If you're concerned about the fuel, you ought to look into an E4OD swap or adding a gear vendors...

I really like the original license plates. My daddy had a 65 F100, CA license P97 605.

It is a 65 with a 66 grill. I like the 66 grill more than the 65.

Yeah it has the 63 black plates. Its funny as these get compliments almost as much as the truck.

No I don't mind the gas mileage. This was just a joke thread really. 8-10 mpg is fine by me. I only use the truck a couple times a week. I have a car for work and a harley as well. The truck is a weekend runner.
