More fabrication
I picked up a Mustang ii coil over front suspension and four link rear to get the chassis started once I wrap up this phase.
shaved door
Looks like previous owner stored rubber boots between bed and cab
bear claw latch
post installed, will have to blend into upholstery due to the door inset into the cab
Can't escape the rust, six different colors but no protection from the backside

A variety of methods: paint stripper, Bahco scraper, Pneumatic sanders, orbital and Roloc, 80 grit. Then I go over with DA , 80 grit to finish up. Yes it is time consuming as the fender I did Saturday had 6 colors and a couple of primer coats, probably 2 hours on it.
I considered getting someone to do vapor blasting but too far along now. I have a sand blaster that makes a 2 hr mess after 10 minutes of blasting but that could be harbor freight junk

I really like the "Cab Cart" you fabricated out of wood. I already have a set of four wheels so I am off to the local lumber yard to purchase a small pile of wood to make the cart. The technique for lifting the cab looks like a winner. It appears to be a proven method, tested by you and other (Dennis-) FTE members! Thanks!
