I found this one on ebay. It isn't identical, but it's extremely similar. Another clue pointing to the Monarch theory is that the seller of this one is located in Ontario.

Thanks fellas. More info is needed. I have found enough to believe it is from a Monarch Richelieu (Canadian), late 50’s or early 60’s. There are no markings on it. I am hoping somebody with connections at Ford might be able to find something about it. I tried emailing the Ford Heritage center, but didn’t get much help.

Thanks again donjamer. I did find that picture. It’s the only one I could find so far. I have found pictures from 49-53 Monarch with the same lion but with a different base. I just got an email from a guy telling me it was actually a fender ornament from a 1961 Monarch Richelieu and there was one on each side. 1961 was the last year the Monarch Richelieu was produced. It was strictly a Canadian car. Thanks for taking some time to help my search!
