So my dad is finally bringing his 79 f150 4x4 to Alberta from New Brunswick. There might not be much left over but he's had it longer than he's had me and we have a bunch of parts stocked up for it.
I am from just outside Fredericton. I have a 1979 F250 4x4 in my garage, mostly rebuilt. If you need some smaller parts , I have some kicking around! I live in Ontario now.
I'm in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Wow, she's as bad as a local Eastern truck that,s been run through the winter pickle jar.
Show us some of your parts stock pile and then we will see some of your vision for the future for dad's ol gal.
Best of luck with your build.
Here in the Northeast (vermont), we would call your dads truck..." Hey,that's in pretty good shape". Good luck with your project ! Remember,it is just metal, anything can be done!
In Halifax last year just driving around, deer hunted way up in Nictau,New Brunswick a few years ago. Big deer up that away.Ontario is within reach for hunting and fishing from Vermont. Nice to see folks in this part of the world are old truck fans .
Hey DJ! Good luck with the trek. I just got back from my vacation in Bathurst where I got to drive "Cletus" for a few weeks.
hey. Good to see you’re still driving the old truck. I’ve always liked that one. Although I wish you could find a box for it. That 4wd looks pretty good for miramichi.
yeah we’d be interested in parts for sure. What kind of shape is the frame in?
It was our old farm truck and used to be stored inside it’s entire life. Surface rust is all. Has all the suspension and steering still on it. The 460 is still on it as well. My uncle had it rebuilt about 5 years ago. Was running strong and gobbling gas before I stripped it. I have some other panels as well. Front fenders with no rust. Doors.
