OK, The bezel 15C580 is threaded and screws onto the switch. It holds everything together, and there are no markings on it. ie. blank.

And there are at least 3 vendors that sell the OP's stated part number C5TZ-15C580-A as the flashing red light.

So, the Parts Manual shows the identified needed part as 15C580. I see nothing in the PM for that number having either a prefix or suffix for that blank threaded bezel. But since I can't crack the password to make my files searchable pdf's, maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

I found the later '66 number is B6TZ 9A389-A.

9A389 is described justly: NUT-FUEL PUMP MANUAL CONTROL, but...

When you look at B6TZ-9C989-A it sez: Bezel (emergency flasher lamp switch). Edit: B6 is 1956 .. not 1966!

But even thought it says: 1964/ (1964/72) E100/300, F100/1100; C550/1100 and etc., this cannot be the correct part, because...

1965/66 F100/250 2WD bezel is different than Econoline, F100/250 4WD, F350/1100; C series Tilt Cabs and etc.

Plus, the member in post #16 says the bezel is threaded (one of the things I suggested in post #14), so the OP doesn't need a 9C389.

This thread is a confusing mish-mash because the OP didn't make it clear what he was asking for.

Said he wanted a Benzel (sic) & Nut, but it seemed (at least to me) that when he said the "blank" one, he was going to remove the switch, then plug (blank off) the hole in the dash.

And, you are confusing the issue even further...by posting this B6TZ-9C989-A part number...that is not for the OP's truck.

Pic: Scroll down to 15C580

Should have posted pictures, learned my lesson. First pic is the switch and flasher. Second picture shows the **** taken off and what the set-up is. Bottom is the switch, middle is the bezel I need, top is a chrome spacer? that sets in the center of the bezel. PO did a nice job of cutting it up. The bezel does screw on to the switch post. Sorry the pictures are so large.

You listed two bezel part numbers in this thread (D0TZ-15C580-A & B6TZ-9C389-A), both of which are wrong for the OP's application.

I know that. And it's why I'm giving up.

That small chrome cap between the **** and bezel is interesting. Mine did not have that. That doesn't mean it wasn't supposed to though. It looks a lot like a refugee from a cigar lighter.

Wanna thank all for their input and help. Learned a lot again. There is a pick and pull about an hour from my house that does have numerous f100's. Guess I'll get there some weekend and look around.
