Performance Automatics Tranny Dipstick install

I installed a Performance Automotive PA68404 transmission dipstick in my driveway in less than an hour. I don't know why Ford didn't install one, but I figured for long term care it couldn't hurt.

This is the link to the dipstick: Performance Automatic PA68404: Transmission Dipstick & Filler Tube 6R80/6R60 Truck/SUV Transmission | JEGS

Awesome upgrade & video, thanks for sharing

Just an FYI, that JEGs link displays the correct p/n however the picture doesn't match the product.
I assume that's where u bought yours though?

Here's a link to the same p/n on SUMMITTs website (correct pic):

It looks like it would take forever to add any significant quantity of oil, like after a fluid/filter change.

I too thought about that & figure that must be why the flexible tube just pulls out of the bung easily, so u can pump it in from below, as OEM. With that being said, I feel this is still a great product. How often are u going to add that much fluid vs how often can u now check fluid?
I ordered one myself during this Black-Friday circus (lol) $172 from Summit Racing.
