I placed my order 6 weeks ago. Dealer does not have a vin as of yet.

Has anyone taken delivery yet. Curious about the length of time it’s actually taking to get the vehicle from the date the order was placed.

Too bad no one has responded. I am a brand new forum member (as of 5 minutes ago). I've ordered one 2 weeks ago. My dealer is vague while saying 8-12 weeks. Talked to a Ford rep, they said the same thing.

My closest dealer has 2 on the lot. A Limited Max has been sitting there for 3 weeks+ on the front entrance to the lot. The 2nd, a Platinum arrived about 10 days ago and they haven't even prepped it from the delivery truck nor placed it where it can be easily viewed by anyone other than a nosy customer. Is that not strange?

I need the vehicle pretty badly but think the wait is going to be very long.

 

Theres a few ppl who have. Alot of ppl who placed orders are still waiting and those who have them went and bought em from the dealer. I placed my order in july/august, it was supposed to be delivered last week but my dealer still has not recieved. Kind of fustrating that they cant even get me status of where it even is. In another forum, a few ppl have already written about their expys and navis.

 

I just heard from my dealer. I ordered a Platinum. He told me my order is being delayed because Ford cannot get their hands on the wheels for the Platinum trim level. They are on backorder.

They have no idea when these wheels will be in stock.

First world problems.

 

Looks like we are going to need to do a long term rental until our expedition shows up. I figured nearly 3 months would be plenty of time. We have been a 1 vehicle family since the week before thanksgiving. Starting in January we will need 2 vehicles again. Uggg. Wish that Expedition would get here.

 

I haven't seen 1 in the road yet however did see a new black label Navi at of all places a local rent a car place. Looked sick

 

I've seen 1 on the road and my wife and I test drove a Stone color Max Limited yesterday. Might be heading back to purchase it this week.

 

Got mine on Dec 23. Dealer figures i'm about 1 in 20 in Canada right now.
Drives like a dream, heck of a step up from the Dodge Grand Caravan.

 

Purchased one yesterday , Max Platinum was sitting at the dealership.

I took delivery on my Limited 2018 yesterday. Ordered around Oct. 10th. First thing I noticed is that the white platinum color is closer to white then my 2005 white platinum which had more silver and gold metallic in the paint.

 

How is the driver seat legroom in the 18? in the 15 plat and i'm 6'1, with the seat all the way back, my right knee is still at a 45 degree angle on the accelerator. Also how is the 2nd row legroom with the front seats set all the way back. in the 15 the 2nd row legroom is pathetic. thanks!

 

In any kind of truck, van, or SUV with the seat bottom a good distance above the floor, your knees will be at an angle. What is important to me is that the bottom seat cushion is long enough to give me thigh support so my back is not straining. Usually put the front of the seat up all the way and lower the back until the angle feels good. I don't understand where the pedals would have to be if you wanted your legs straight out in an Expy...it's not a La-Z-Boy. If you want your legs straight out, get a Mustang or Corvette maybe, with the seat cushion a few inches off the floor.

But I'm also curious about the 2nd row legroom in the 2018; the 2017 is disappointing with the driver's seat all the way back, which is where I usually put it.
