Suspension lift questions

I'm looking to purchase a 2005 f150 crew cab with 150,000 miles and it has a 6 inch suspension lift. I'm worried about any problems concerning the front end due to the lift. what are common problems with suspension lifts and would it be a good purchase? Thanks

Hi Bh,

Check the front sway-bar endlinks; they tend to be a "wear" item, not hard to replace though. Replace them with endlinks that have zerk fittings(greaseable).

If the truck was run hard off-road; the control arms' bushings and steering linkage (tie-rod ends, centerlink, pittman arm) might be a little sloppy, maybe not a Big issue right away.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

If it was a kit that was put in right it should be as good as it was before the lift.
