Do all the trucks made after the TSB with the + caster numbers come from the factory with those specs? If so, I wonder if that took care of the wobble problem for the new trucks?

Can you give specifics on the 2" Fabtech kit please. Their website shows 33" tires with their 2" leveling kit.

Please let me be one who doesn't have this issue. 260mi. on my 18 350..

DW twice at highway speed scared the &hit out of me ! Took it to dealer replaced steering dampener and drag link seems to have stopped DW still feels like it wants to wobble but the dampener stops it . No confidence at all in this truck. 2017 F250 XLT diesel bought new in 2018 14,000 miles.

Man, I hope you're right. Only responding to get Subscribed to watch for a fix.
What does Ford (dealer) say if you go out on your own with front end modifications to try and fix this after they've failed?

I have to say this scares the hell out of me. I just bought a new 18 F250 and I do not want a truck with death wobble. My 05 had death wobble when I bought it used at 30k miles. That was in 07. Had to put new tires on it, alignment, only then would the dealer would look at the problem even though it was under warranty. They then said nothing was wrong, so I showed them where the stabilizer was wearing the mount holes out(I had checked it out first because I wasn't taking the runaround anymore). They replaced it and a couple of other parts that I can't remember and I never had the problem again. That truck only has 73k on it now and I'm keeping it BTW. It has never had the issue again, but I didn't think that 13 years later anyone would be talking about death wobble. I'm honestly not sure I would have bought the 18 had I known this could be a problem still. I realize I probably won't have the issue, but still that seems to be a huge mistake by Ford not correcting it in that amount of time.

I have 24,000 miles and my truck has been doing it for a while and getting worse. So bad the other day on a rough patch of interstate with repeated incidents that I was able to take a video. Got to get this truck into the dealer. 2017 F-250 6.2 4x4, all stock no mods.

Aaaarrrgghh! Deal breaker 2 weeks ago. Please post what they do. This needs to be a recall with a REAL, permanent fix.

I witnessed a Dodge doing the DW on the interstate at 75mph from the opposite lane as he passed me with a car hauler. Front wheel was folding nearly completely under the truck repeatedly. Very scary to watch and the guy was white as a ghost by the time he got it shut down. All this time I thought it was unique to Dodge and is one reason I didn't even test drive a Dodge but considered another GM.

Dealer replaced the steering stabilizer, solved it for 1 month.

The eventual cure for me was this:

Never had it again after that, not one time. Had to pay out of my pocket and have a shop install it but it was well worth it for me.
How many miles since the "fix"?

I just got mine back from the dealer yesterday. They replaced the steering dampener. I guess only time will tell if that is the fix or not.

IMHO a SS is not a long term fix. Having fought with death wobble on three different dodge rams, in all cases it was always worn ball joints, or bad tires, or (every case) worn track bar end joints, or insufficient caster (all three). Control arm connection joints can also contribute to death wobble. Running wheels with excessive negative offset and huge heavy mud grip tires only aggravates the problem. Not popular to say the truth but there it is...

In all cases, new trucks should not have these issues. But sometimes they do and it sucks.
