You know, never had one of those, but I've always wanted to try one.

They are great, the 1st one I had was in Iraq in 2012 in the civilian contractor run chow hall. Ham, swiss cheese, texas toast dipped in french toast batter, topped with powered sugar. AWESOME

I've heard of people that dip them into a grape jam also.

I was hooked on them for a year, then I left country for good. I have found a few placed that make them stateside, but they do not taste near as good?

Check out "Bacon Burgers", I believe that is what the hamburger was called that Chip brought.

Evening all. Now that my eyes have cleared enough to see the screen, it turned out that the first test was a false positive. There is evidence of a what's best called an eye stroke, but it's old and it seems to have recovered nicely. It had me a little shook up since this is the same problem that took a good chunk of my Mom's sight several years ago. Everything else is in good shape so I don't have to go back until this time next year.

Guess what my wonderful wife did? She scheduled everyone to have eye exams on Black Friday. At least I won't have to get my eyes dilated again.

BTW - I like Pecan Pie, but the last time I had a couple of bites of one I was sick from the sugar rush. No more Pecan Pie for me.

Nothing like dilated eyes, to know how vampires must feel.
