Large Transmission Leak

About a week ago I noticed my 01 7.3L F250 was leaking transmission fluid. Since I had an aftermarket cooler I had ordered to install anyways I went ahead and installed it along with adding transmission fluid. Well, I'm still having the leak from somewhere and I'm wondering what all the places are to look. I know one place I'll have to check is the Shaft seal and also the hoses. It seems to even be on top of the transmission so I have no idea where its coming from.

I can't see your pictures, but I know when the 4R100 gets too hot it will puke out the main seal.

I just dug into the e-manual (just got it from Helm). The only "openings" that could push fluid from the top are a transmission vent tube and the filler tube. The vent tube is almost dead center on the top of the case. The filler tube is on the right side just above the shift linkage. From the drawing, there is a small o-ring on the fill tube that connects to the transmission case-may be the culprit...O-rings are the bane of humanity. That's the only thing I can come up with...outside of a cracked case (which I hope it is not) there are no other "openings" at or near the top of the case...Maybe the torque converter is going and the bell has gapped a bit? I am not sure, but if you have a pto capable tranny, the cover plate is just aft of the bell on the left side, the top of the plate is near the top-possibly that gasket has departed or the plate lost torque?
Reaching here, just learning the new truck myself...

I think I'm going to start by spraying it down with degreaser to try and get a better look at where it's coming from. When I looked it was right after getting off the highway so it really could have come from anywhere and got thrown around from the wind. I'll try getting it cleaned up tonight when I get out of work to get a better view.

sure it's not engine oil dripping down from a leak in the valley... there is a drain hole in the back of the block for it and it often looks like a trans/rear main leak.

I checked the fluid and it is in fact transmission fluid. I forgot yesterday was Halloween so I wasn't able to degrease everything so i'm going to try and do it today.

I first had a leak from the pump seal. Rather than drop it myself I had a local shop do it. Seal leak was fixed, but they buggered up that o-ring on the fill tube, and MAN did it puke some fluid out of there. Probably lost a quart when I shut it off in the driveway. Quick fix, though! Hopefully that's what's going on here.

Alright boys, it was in fact the o-ring on the dipstick. Pulled what was left of the old one out, threw a new one in and took her for a spin and had nothing leak. That probably would have been the last thing I checked so I appreciate all the help.
