Im curious what those cab lghts are too. Looks good. Have a question for you guys... going back and forth on what to put on back of my 52. I have a line on a ford script bed probably from late 60s??? IT has the block ford script. Anyway i can get the bed for 200.00. Its a 12ft bed. Somebody welded diamond plate to the top. Other than that the bed is just surface rust and probably some minimal fixing. Im not thrilled about the bed but at least want the ford script. Whats anyones thoughts? ? Build new bed and trash old bed idea? Buy old bed and fix it? Put something else on there? Just trying to see if im missing a better idea or if anyone has a better idea? Thanks

You can not buy much steel for $200... I would remove the diamond plate and restore that block letter bed. If I remember right, the later Ford stake beds are similar to the script beds except for the rear member......It has been several years since I saw a block logo bed.
You get the block letter bed restored and a script bed will show up.

That 's not too far from the truth!
Here you go Ray. Pics of the 70 F350 flatbed (12 feet long) I owned that I sold to buy my 55.

Here is another one in better shape than mine was.

Thanks, Joe. The last block letter Ford bed I was up close and comfortable with was the truck from which my Dana 70 was removed. I compared it to both script beds I owned at the time. Similar as I remember. It was a near perfect nine foot, I believe, example on a low mileage truck. The rust gremlins had all but consumed the truck but the bed was fine.
Back to the topic of COEs.

If so I`m the one who sold you the column. Lost touch and wondered how it worked out.

They look like Dietz, Grote, PM, or a Chinese knock-off. Taillightking changed his website around. Hard to find. In the pic the clearance lights are correct, but the ICC marker light group is missing a light. Must be artistic license.

Ford did not make any AFAIK. They were put on after either by the buyer or the dealer. I am not sure what was used at the time but I know Arrow was a popular one. Others were Dietz, Yankee, and Grote.

I am not sure when plastic lenses replaced teh glass ones. Can any one tell us?

Grote makes a nice one. Google Grote clearance light #45333

The local Car Quest store sells them for about $30. You might find them cheaper on ebay...
