94 f150 bad gas
hello
so i have a 94 f 150 with the 4.9. I recently got some bad gas in the truck. It was gas in the other tank and i pumped it into the one tank that works and now my truck has some issues. I know it is all caused by bad gas.
history
after i put gas in truck i drove for maybe 30 miles and ran just fine.
drove home and parked it. got up next morning would not start....kept cranking and got it to finally start and would immediately die. cranked some more finally started and would stay running if i kept throttle wide open..as soon as i let off gas it would die.
when i had time i decided .to pump old gas out and change filter. i put good fresh gas in and still wouldn't start and when it did it would die and run rough.
so i changed the plugs...they were bad..black and defiantly fouled out.
now with new plugs and fuel and fuel filter..truck will crank for a few minutes and finally fire but will run rough and if you hit the gas at all it dies.
my question is,,
as far as fuel injectors--
is it possible that i can run sea-foam in the tank and let run rough and possibly clean injectors.
any other component that can be affected?
i am at a loss!!!

First --- virtually all gas today is pretty awful to begin with. If you can find a non-ethanol station (there are still quite a few out there), I'd switch over.
Second, all dumping cleaning agents in the gas tank do is sent the "stuff" up to your injectors.
Your problem is likely "widespread" and requires an end to end cleaning - I, if my vehicle, would do it the hard, tedious, long way ==== drop the tank, clean it thoroughly, disconnect fuel lines, blow out with compressed air followed by a good cleaning solution, then clean the injectors -- based on your description I'd say the injectors are horribly clogged up. You can start at the injectors (the easy way) first and save a lot of time but problems may show up later.
