Turbo issues

my question is, when I punch the gas I only get turbo psi up to about 10psi, then stops, before if I'd have turbo psi up to 20psi + any ideas, it's a 07 f250 with no work done, it has 154k

check your connections and your charge air cooler, look for a blue o-ring around top and bottom tanks

If you see oil on the boots it is seeping. If oil can get out so can boost. The boot leaks are usually in the hardest spot to see. Murphy's law.

Most likely will need to clean and or replace the turbo I had cleaned mine 6 years ago for the same kinda issue and just this summer the unison ring seized up again. I just bought a new turbo this time around

If it isn't building enough boost it will throw codes. What are you reading boost with?

It will only build boost to 10psi, after that the rpm will shoot through the roof, until I back out of it

Remove the MAP hose from the manifold and check for any
goo in the fitting that threads into the manifold and then gently
remove the hose from the sensor and check it.
