Hi, I have a 2006 F150 4x4 STX Supercab, in the Last Month or so, I have went to start my truck in the Morning and had problems, the first 3 times I went to Turn it over and nothing, but everything else comes on, I tried a couple of times and it finally Turned over with pleanty of Power, so I thought my Battery might be going down, this morning I went to Crank it ( Coldest Morning yet 45°) and nothing, I tried it a couple of times, wiggled the steering wheel wiggled the Key and Nothing, so I jumped it off my wifes car, it didn't fire right off, but when I turned the Ignition key nothing for 2 seconds and then it tuned over and fired up, I stopped by Oreilly's this morning, they checked my battery and alternator, everything checked out, so I took it to a Auto Electric Place this afternoon and he checked it, relays, fuses and all, and said everything checks out, that I would have to leave it with him a couple of days so they could diagnose when it happens to help them figure it out, has anyone had this problem before?

 

If it takes awhile for the truck to start but it does crank normally especially after sitting overnight that usually is a symptom of a dieing fuel pump.

 

A failing solenoid can give the same symptoms. Everything works but the engine doesn't twitch. Then it works for weeks or months then a few intermittent no cranks then all is well.
