Rhino or LineX

of what ive seen on threads elsewhere theyre about equal to each other as far as durability and fade resistance. the only difference ive seen seems to be in the price itself. if its not prepped properly youll have problems with either of them.. one suggestion i would have though is to have the gooseneck hitch installed first so that you get all the holes predrilled and uninstall it before taking it in to have the liner done.. that way the edges of the new holes also get coated for environmental protection.

I have the Line-x and love it. While getting some accessories at Ziebart, (who installs Rhino), the saleslady showed me a truck they had just done... she said they just bought new equipment to use the new version of Rhino. It looked identical to Line-x...
Not sure about the durability of the "new formula" . I'd ask.

but i wasnt referring to the bed bolts with my post where you highlighted.. i was referring to the OP wishes to have a 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch installed after the bed was lined... if they installed it first.. then remove the hitch prior to taking it in, the edges of the newly drilled holes would be coated by the bed liner to protect it.. (would also advise going slightly wider on the holes if your doing it yourself as the liner will recover some of that space. if not you may end up redrilling and defeating the purpose of having the liner coat the holes) then they could reinstall the hitch after the beds been coated..

I know Sparky,
I was referring to just that. I drilled my holes for the puck system, sent it off to the liner and it came back with the bed bolts coated.
I see several pictures here of trucks with the liner and their bolts clearly aren't coated. I'm just a little upset is all, sorry to derail the thread.

sometimes i think thats just more on the lazyness of the shop that they end up doing that.. they dont realize how much of a pain it can be to deal with it later.

I've settled on Line-X but am on the fence about the color match. I have a 1990 F-250 in white. Has anyone done the color match in white? I'm wondering how it will look after a couple years. Any fading or yellowing? Will be going over the rails with this so want to make sure the color will hold up over time.
Thanks!
