Sad Day.

So after months of tweaking I had my truck running good. It was meaty. Fun. And best of all only made it there due to my hard work.

Well something went wrong in the cooland system. My truck overheated. I thought I got it shut down and squared away and saved it. Well after letting it sit on the road for a few hours getting fresh oil and coolant in. Started it up and headed for home. Everything sounded fine. No tings, pings or thunks. I make it 10 minutes out gauges are reading good. The engine has power doesn't feel off at all and "CHTHUNKEHDIG" Smoke Smoke smoke and get it on the side of the road again. Its 10 at night pop the hood and bingo. Cylinder 1 threw a rod and took the entire sidewall out. Words out of my buddies mouth are congrats. I've never seen a 300 fail like that. That is downright impressive. Sad day. Pulled it home with a tow strap so it can sit lonely next to my garage until I source a fresh engine.
