Truck maf and mustang A9L eec for maf swap?

will a mass air sensor off a 96 F150 work with a mustang A9L computer for a mass air seap?
I had emailed fiveology racing about their conversion overlay harness and this was his response.
i plan on making my harness by adding the injector wiring from the maf harness to mibe

The "A9L" PCM is compatible with our installation instructions. However, the MAF you specified does not have the correct transfer function for PCM comparability. You will need either a F1ZF-12B579-AA or F2VF-12B578-AA sensor. The F2VF will retain the same mount configuration as the truck application.

sensor I have is F5UF-12B579-BA

i know one of those is a mustang maf the other I couldnít find any info on for what vehicle to look for at junk yard.

The numbers he gave are Component I.D. Nos (as shown below). These are for I.D. for take-off only or for I.D. if buying new or reman.

Do you see how F2VF 12B579-AA has the same housing as yours?

I just want to make sure I got this across correctly...

Ideally you want a MAF from a 5.0 mustang... the old one not the new one.

Started digging into the donor harness and looks like I have some repairs to make. I might just look for a overlay harness I can buy to make this simpler since Iím going from a 4.9 to a 5.0 and maf all at the same time
