The HP has written about plenty of them, for sure. But I can't get enough. How cool is this?

If I hadn't build a 408W for mine years ago I would have went with a coyote motor for my frame off resto. Hard to beat modern electronics and variable cam timing for making some nice power.

Still might dabble in an F150 coyote with a supercharger in it years from now.

I keep waiting for the flatplane motor to wind up in one. But haven't seen one yet? Has anyone else?

motor choices

"...flateplane..."
not sure, may B by nother name~
wass dat?

EDIT:
OK, gotdid now.
the crank design, al la most typical 4 cyl, which is
more able to rev higher than many of USA bent8s.
Some bent8s have 2 banks of these 4 cyl like motors
and are applied to race and strip engines (Ford 'stang)GT350

Someone out there with some money has probably put a flat plane motor in one. Not gaining a whole lot for a lot of extra money. Flat planes are great for quick revving and can free up some power upon acceleration due to the great inertial mass reduction on the crank.

My friends did an aftermarket 302 block stroked to a 347 and ran a centrifugal supercharger and were getting 820hp to the rear wheels on pump gas. They put it in a little fox body Mustang.

An aluminum flywheel would go a long way into lightening up the rotating mass.
