Thanks Steve, I think I'll leave them on.

Nice.

Were they a straight remove and replace?

Thanks. Yes, direct swap. I even used my existing brackets for the OEM tube type. Took me much longer to unwrap them than it did to remove the old and install the new.

I’ve been seeing these for sale as new take offs on CL. It has to be more durable than what I have now, with the giant plastic step pad that’s showing wear.

These are all aluminum, but heavier than the ones that come on all the other trucks. No flex with these, and 3" wider. I used the brackets that were already on my truck, and the Raptor boards tuck up under the rockers, so they don't appear to stick further out. Looks like they'll provide more protection for the rockers than the tube type.
There are many out there for a SCrew, but hardly any for a SCab. I wound up paying more than if I had a SCrew. Supply and demand at work!!!

This is funny. Not only did no one here catch it, but a couple techs, three service writers, and three sales guys, and myself, never noticed I had the boards on backwards!! I had the right on the left, and left on the right. Well, that's been remedied.
Have been forgetting to mention, I removed the spacer and the front 5100's, and installed some Rancho Quick lift coilovers. I remembered the trouble I had with the last truck and aluminum spacer, got great deal on the coilovers, and redid it all, 2 1/2" lift now.
Last truck that aluminum spacer, and steel tophat, decided they liked each other so much that I almost had cut them apart due to corrosion.
Here's a photo of how it looks as of now.

They still look good no matter which way they were installed.

Thanks Steve, I thought they did too, but OCD wouldn't let me leave them like that!

Well, my 2020 was built yesterday, and has an estimated date of 3/17 for delivery. Been busy returning the '17 to OEM, and getting parts for the new truck. Wish the weather would be better, I'd like to have the outside look as good as the inside one more time.
