Business Owners, Have You Gotten "Up-fit Assistance"

Saw this, you can get $500 on up-fit assistance, no minimum purchase required, chassis cab guys get $1000. Has anyone used this incentive? I just confirmed my business and now don't know what I do to apply the savings.

I pick the truck up friday, just want to be armed with as much info as possible before signing.

That's what I was thinking, but do you have to use a Ford authorized upfitter? Or can the local LineX do it?

Thanks

I purchased my truck from the dealer Wednesday. I saw this thread yesterday and went to the website to certify my business. Waiting on the certification to come back. In the meantime, I called the dealership and told them about this. They said I am not eligible because this program is only for "Fleet" vehicle purchases. So, called the 800# for program headquarters and they looked up my info by the VIN. Said I was absolutely eligible and all the dealer had to do was submit my receipt for the bedliner and the certification that I will receive from Ford. Dealer is STILL not working with me and says I'm not eligible. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the dealership to do this? I confirmed with Program Headquarters that not a dime of this comes out of the dealership's pocket. All they have to do is submit the claim.

Bought truck in business name, paid private mom & pop store for Line-X. Went back to dealer with paid Line-X receipt and they submit to Ford for rebate mailed directly to me in Buss name.

I was told that if you buy the truck in personal name you are not eligible for business outfitter rebate. I can't confirm this....

In my case the dealer told me about it and brought it to a shop near me to get it done. I bought the truck in my name and i just gave them my ein number and they took care of the rest.

Yeah the program states if the truck is in your name you have to provide proof of ownership you own the business. Not a big deal.
