Did the kit you guys used include the burlap, gray padding and cotton batting or did you buy those things locally?
Mine came as a kit with all the padding for the whole seat and burlap for the seat back. They only piece that needed to be purchased if you want it was the burlap for the bottom.

I just went on their website to see if I could confirm what I was told on the phone. I ended up "chatting" with someone in AZ who had to contact tech support to get an answer. It came back the same - no padding in the kit. I bet the price hasn't changed though. You guys lucked out and bought the kit before these things were removed.

There is a fair disconnect internally between Mac's and the Cartouche teams. When I spoke to the Mac's technical team about an interior kit question, they were not much help. There is a separate number for the Cartouche support team. These folks were very aware of detailed elements of the kits that completely escaped the chat / Mac's catalog folks.

I don't have the hotline number in front of me right now, but will post it first light here.

Well, I called the Cartouche hotline and talked to the lady in tech support. She said it does include the padding and she called down to the guy who handles the cover kits to confirm it. I ordered one so we'll see who's right. I almost blew it though because I forgot that there's always a 10% sale going on. Just happened to glance at the website as I was placing the order on the phone and was able to give her todays discount code.

Good to hear, Dan. I've been pleased with all my Cartouche kits, perhaps you'll be as well.

FYI for anybody who's still wondering, the cover kit from Mac's does come with the gray padding and cotton batting. Someone ought to tell the tech support people at Mac's.
