Still no ut2504bh in stock anywhere around here. One dealership has been saying they'd get one in "this week" for three weeks. The other says January. I'm leaning to that 2400bh but I'd like to lay eyes on both before I decide. Haven't let my wife see anything yet. She doesn't like shopping for weeks and months, so I need my ducks in a row before she gets involved.

I assume that I have more leverage to get a deal in November and December because they can't sell much those months.

Well the UT2504BH did not show up in Alberta before Christmas and I got impatient.

I decided to start negatiating on the GD Imagine 2400bh to see if I could get the sale price down to the approved insurance amount. It was already marked down a long way from sticker, but I wanted to see where I could get. They were so good at negotiating that I am not out of pocket anything so I signed for it. Christmas and extreme cold weather slows things down but supposed to be picking it up the second week of January. I won't be camping until spring but be nice to have it parked in my spot so I can start filling it with gear.

Congratulations ! I'm confident you will be happy with it. FWIW, I have a good friend who turns wrenches at a large RV dealer. The Grand Designs are the only brand he actually compliments on quality.

This followed me home today. Stopped at CAT scale to get a true empty weight before I put any gear in it. Trailer weighs 5740lbs with tongue weight of 560lbs. That'll go a long way up before I'm ready to camp.

Nice. I have the 2800BH and we love it. Had it just over a year. There is a Facebook group if you are interested. Lots of mod ideas in it.

Is that owners forum worth joining? I sort of hate Facebook so I try to stay away from it.

Good information there too. I paid for the first year but then didn't renew since FB has pretty much the same info.
