2003 4.6 cyl head warpage specs

I have posted below that I am getting water in oil after head install and suspect warped head. Wondering what the flatness spec is? Is there a machine max spec and a discard max spec? Are these modular heads even able to be machined?

Also how much is allowable to mill off the heads to correct warp?

Use a straightedge that is calibrated by the manufacturer to be flat with 0.0002 inches (0.005 mm) per running foot length. For example, the straightedge may be 24 inches (61 cm) long. That means the machined edge must be flat within 0.0004 inches (0.010 mm) from end to end.

Depressions or marks measured to be over 0.001 inch deep will not seal properly. The overall flatness check (head end to other end) is not as critical.

Thanks Alloro I will measure when heads are removed. Is there any allowable amount that can be machined of the heads if I do run into a warp or depression issue? I realize any amount taken off will effect hyd tensioner travel and chain tension. Thanks for the advice.

I don't have that information but the machine shop that does the flattening work should.
