Waiting for the humidity to drop so I can paint my oil pan and get it back on! Lost some wind out of my sails after buying some turbines for the truck... apparently my closed knuckle Dana 44 won’t allow turbines I of course found that out AFTER cleaning up the wheels

 

Wow! Cool rims! A shame they didn’t work. What’s your plan now?

 

Well currently the plan is to swap in a newer Dana 44 or 60 with open knuckles and disc brakes... I wanted discs anyway cz stopping 37s with drums isn’t ideal. So I guess it’s not horrible but I now need to do the swap before I run the rims and 37s. That sadly might be in a year or two.

Unless someone wants to swap an open knuckle front axle for a rear Dana 60 drum

 

I’ve been there! One project/upgrade is dependent on another which is dependent on another, etc. it never ends! Lol!

Happy Hump Day Indiana! Today’s a traveling day for me. The wife and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary (a few months late) and going on a repeat of our honeymoon. Looking forward to relaxing after several weeks of non-stop hardcore work!

Gasman, good luck winterizing the trailer! It got cold in a real hurry! When I left for my trip it was 60’s here. I got back and it is 30’s! That was a shock!! Lol!
