last year fuel pump went out, replaced unit and filter ran good for a year. Last week it died again same symptoms. No fuel at the rail and no sound at the pump. I checked for voltage at the pump connector 11 volts on one pin and 6 on another nothing on the third and i guess the fourth is the ground. So I figured it was a bad pump, dropped tank put in new pump assembly and filter
reinstalled and added 10 gallons of gas, turn key on won't fire, still cant hear pump and no fuel at the fuel rail. It will fire if you give it a shot of starting fluid but then dies. What else could it be and where would it be located? I need this truck to make a living and don't know where to go from here, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Unfortunately it could be a bad and very expensive fuel pump driver module.

do you know where the fpdm is located on this 2004 f350 w/ 5.4l 4x4? It's not on the crossmember under the spare tire.
