I got another round of block sanding done today. I should be able to lay color on the doors and front clip first thing in the morning. Then pull the bed and roll the cab in and get the whole front of the truck green and reassembled.
At least you're making progress. I spent the day in a field figuring out how to access the fuel hoses on a John Deere big **** garden tractor. Now to get some shop therapy on a 70 Camero.
Afternoon all. Dually is back together and should be good to go. It was a pain getting the air out of the system. After finally getting most of it out, we took it out for a test hop and it pulled in about half a gallon through the reservoir. After its cooled off, I'll go check the level again.
For now, I think a shower may be next on the list...
spent most of the day moving engines around the shop.. i had to move 2 FE engines off the engine stands and onto the engine dollies to get them out of my way for now.. there was half a 460 engine taking up one of my portable work tables, and a 56, 261 inline taking up another, and most of the parts from 2- 390 top ends on the other..
... now that i have the parts to finish a paying job, that takes priority over my own stuff... so for now i am doing the shuffle the old parts around the shop dance
Same here Alan. Stumpe's Garden tractor works again, 16' of fuel hose and disassembly of back half and drop the deck. Camero is still not painted, I've painted multiple cars for this guy and he still can't resist the temptation of armor all, Lucas quick detailer and silicone tire shine.
