Hey Pat.... have you checked up in the 6.0 forum for your problem with black? Bet it ain't the FICM or the injectors. Sounds like a sensor to me.

My buddy that runs the shop, Chris, is going to hook up his laptop to it, and drive it first thing Thursday morning, that's why he's keeping it overnight. It needs a few other things, right side tie rods, and a tranny service.

Some people never learn.... any 6.0 owner should be REQUIRED to have some kind of devise to be able to read the 6.0 PIDS like the ScanGauge or phone link app.

Yeah, I know. But, I just take it by the shop, those guys do it for free. And I don't have to drop the money for the scanner.

Yep, EGT and Fuel pressure. Had them put in when they did the bullet proof on the engine.

Did you notice if the fuel pressure was varying at all when engine was running rough?

Nope, stayed rock solid. EGT's weren't affected either.
