1967 f700 clutch info
Hey guys,
So this is the 67 f700 dump that i rescued from going to the scapyard!
Ive finally hauled a few loads with it after replacing a whole lotta wheel cylinders and brake lines. Now im noticing some clutch slippage when driving, upon inspection it looks a little odd to me but im pretty inexperienced with something this old/large. Heres some pics anyone see anything wrong ??

Only when you pull the pressure plate and inspect the flywheel, clutch disc and the plate itself will you see if the flywheel is damaged. At a minimum you will need to have it resurfaced.
The plate and disc are replaced, along with the t/o bearing and pilot bushing/bearing.
If it is slipping, do the job now while there is a chance you can save your flywheel.
Good luck!

Thanks for the insight guys. Got started on it last night, removed drive shaft, starter, and have top bellhousing bolts loose, anything i should be aware of before going further? Is there a guide on here somewhere by chance? Like I said im pretty good at turning a wrench but inexperienced with this old beast.

The flywheel and its replaceable ring gear are also different sizes. 'Course an F700 could also have a 401, 477 or 534.
So, we'll need the OP's truck VIN to determine what size the engine is.

Ed: The problem is, the 330 2V Medium Duty uses a different sized clutch disc and pressure plate than the 330 2V Heavy Duty, 361 and 391.
