anaheim_drew has a good reputation on FTE.anaheim_drew has a good reputation on FTE.
The OP has a 3 valve V8
You have a 2 valve V10
The engines have nothing in common

I have read your many post asking for help.Based on that you are far from knowledgeable on what you own.
Does a 2000 V10 have a returnless fuel system?

Well rods are the same, 5.4 3v pistons will fit in my V10, custom high compression pistons will reqire valve cutouts, rod bearings and crank bearings for a 5.4 3v are the same ones for a V10 2 and 3V. The injectors are the same 19 lb. The flywheel is the same. The oil pump is the same. The crank balancers are the same. Even the 4.6 modular motor shares piston sizes with the 5.4 mod and 6.8 mod. I would bet even the water pumps are the same but I have never checked. Both the 3v 5.4 and 2V 6.8 share the same head bolts, rod bolts crank bolts, exhaust manifold bolts, intake manifold bolts, ........wow I'm exhausted listing things you have wrong.

A 2V V10 is basically a 2V 5.4 with 2 more cylinders. I could even put a set of V10 3v heads on my 2V V10 if I locked out the cam phasers, and/or put a 2V cam sprocket on 3V head. Same for the 5.4 2v and 3v.

I will say one last time....bypass valve.
it is open during vacuum condition.

The throttle blades determine how much air gets into motor, not the supercharger. You cannot have a more efficient motor without more air. The supercharger can compress air but it cannot magically produce air.

I think the OP has a good idea of my opinions, so I will let him read them and make up his own mind.
Thank you for your vigorous debate.

3v V-10s did NOT have cam phasing, as did the 3v 4.6L and 5.4L engines. That is because the V-10 has a balance shaft in one head that takes up the room that the phasers needed to exist. Therefore they could not fit the phasers in the V-10 3v heads. That extra balance shaft is needed to quell the inherent imbalance of the V-10 crank. The V-8 engines don't have the primary crank imbalance, so they don't' have that extra balance shaft in the head, so they can fit the phasers in the 3v heads. Just info at this point; none of the V10s had cam phasing despite valve arrangement.

Once again.............
All superchargers don't have a bypass valve. This is a FACT based on ownership.
