Has anyone ever swapped late model I beams into like my 76? I am picking up a 94' f150 and would like to swap in the complete units. I have searched but not found any answers. I have not gone and gotten the donor yet so I can't measure to see any differences. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Frames were widened in 1980 about 4" for the need to fit wider motors such as modulars and diesels.
