Ok my truck is a 1968 C900 with a 534 gas engine. Standard trany with a hydraulic clutch. The truck is equipped with air brakes. My steps a little rottted and I need to repair them. Over all the truck isn't in to bad of shape.i have found a place where I can get a lot of parts but the steps.

I read "Ford 9000", a Ford made 9000lb axle.
Rear says Eaton with a 6.50 ratio.
Warranty plate looks like this, minus the paint:

C90 = C900 (gas).
L = 534 4V
V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.
M30301 = 1971 (are you sure it's 30301?)
AXLE code stamped on the 2nd line-far right of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left (drivers side) door face below the latch.
Pic of build sheet in post #10 has this front axle ID number: C7TA-3010-Y = This is a Ford 9,000 lbs. capacity front axle.
