2011 F350 lower cooler hose

I am new to the site so if I am not posting correctly please let me know. I have a 2011 F350 with 152k miles. I use it as a daily driver as well as towing
my toyhauler

I was on a resent trip heading up the mountains in va and I blew apart a lower cooling hose. After leaving the camper on the side of mountain the dealer replaced the hose and sent me on my way after checking everything out. (Said it was the miles I had). I thought ok it does have 150k. So my family and Head back to the camper (30 miles) after hooking back up and pulling out I t blew apart with in 1/4 mile. I had a friend pick up my camper and got towed again to the dealer. This time they replaced the hose and took it on a road test with the lead tech and his computer They said everything is good. But gave me know explanation on what happen. I have taken to a secound dealer and they said the same thing. Does anyone have any idea what is going on ? Obviously I am not towing anything until I get some answers

The only thing that comes to mind is maybe they didn't fully seat the hose on one end or the other. At least on the radiator side they don't use hose clamps, it's a quick connect. I could see that holding long enough to get the radiator filled and burped, but with the extra pressure of having the motor do some work, could blow it off.

Thanks for the info.

The problem is it blew a hole in both hoses. It just didn't come off. I have checked all of the forums and all of the information I find is about the hose coming off.

"Cooling hose" or CAC(charge air cooler) hose coming from below the driver's battery up to the throttle body up in the center of the engine?

that is not a coolant hose but rather the cac tubes. They are made of plastic. A lot of use have either replace the upper one (common one to fail) or carry a spare.

There are some aftermarkets ones out there if you search for them.

just one of those things. My thoughts were it was flawed to begin with.

Agreed. Or it was improperly fitted and somehow cracked during the install.
