seam sealer opinions

I'm within two weeks of re-applying seam sealer in the bumpseam on the bed on both sides. After reading a bunch of different articles and seeing what everyone had to say about it, welding the line is not something I really want to invest in due to the fact that the quality of the bed probably is not worth the investment + the fact that I cannot weld.

Most people use the 3m urethane seam sealer - but it is only available online. Obviously this is option 1, but I highly doubt it is the only option worth considering. And at $30 a tube I guess I'll need 2 tubes.

the local stores carry a dynatron 870 product which I can't find any review of.

Is is it safe to say 1 tube per side?

any other application tips? I've got some rusted through areas, but I've cleaned it up and sprayed rust inhibitor in there. I figured that I am going to have to get it in there really good.

maybe I'll check in there. Wonder how much I need for the two bump seams. Will one tube cut it?

Give Randle a PM. He uses this stuff pretty frequently. He's great to talk with. He takes the lawyer talk out of the equation, for simpletons like me.
