Flat black Side Name plate

I have a F-350 XL with a lot of flat black on it (and adding more) and would like the side name plate to be flat black. Any idea how to remove the chrome from it, or purchase flat black ones?

Thanks,
schu

Just plastidip it. I dipped all my emblems on my Tundra and it held up perfectly for the 7 years I had it. You just spray it on, peel off the over spray, and it will harden over time. You can always peel it off later if you want too.

I agree 100%. I Plasti-Dip'd all of the emblems and trim on my SHO and it held up perfectly for the three years I owned it. Before I got rid of the car, I peeled it off like a big sticker. If you all want is flat black, Plasti-Dip is the only way to go. Plus it's only $5 at HomeDepot.

I really like the custom painted/color match emblems like Digitaldad had done, but if all you want is flat black then Plasti-Dip is perfect.
