What Upsize Tire for 20" OEM w/o Level

For some reason, my search is coming up empty.
I have a 2016 F-150 King Ranch with the 20" Chrome wheels. I'd like to change tire sizes to allow me to go with the BFG T/A KO2 tires with raised white letters, but stock sizes are black walls. I am not interested in a level right now, so is there a tire size I can go to without gaining 1.5" in width, and still clear the suspension? Sorry if my search skills aren't producing this answer.

If you currently have the 275/55/20 there are quite a few selections (including BFG) in a 285/55/20 which will be almost 1/2" taller and wider, should clear fine.

The 285's are BSW, too. On my King Ranch, I think BSW tires will look terrible. BFG is starting to irritate me with their poor selection. Tons of tires with similar dimensions, ratings, etc., but all black walls.

How about one of these
Amazon Amazon

White letters always turn brown anyways (thats why I prefer blackwall out) this way you can make it look how ever you want. They also sell these pens at most auto parts stores.

I would go with their 34.5" 285/65/20. About a 1/2" taller and wider than the stock tire. My friend runs them on his 2014 and they look good. The next choice up would be the 35/12.50/20 but you are only gaining width and weight.

You must never clean your white letter tires then

No way any 3-4 year old white letter tire is still white, they always fade to tan or brown. My vehicles never get parked inside though so that might be a factor.

Try using bleache white. It will keep them white. Also works great for keeping tires clean and black

This for white walls, works great. Just don't get it in your FX Black wheels it stains them.
