Lost Throttle Control, Multiple Warnings - Had to coast to the shoulder
So I was driving my 2016 Ford F150 3.5L EB Super Crew today. I turned a corner and punched the accelerator to get up to speed and it felt like I ran into a brick wall and the truck began chiming and I lost all power.
I mean I had *zero* power - I pushed the gas pedal down and nothing at all happened.
The warnings were:
"Service AdvanceTrac System"
"Hill Descent Control Fault"
"Collision Warning Not Available"
"Hill Start Assist Not Available"
There was an orange wrench on the dash, the air bag light was on, the traction control light was on.
The truck was idling super rough the whole truck was shaking.
I shut the truck off - gave it a second and started it back up and I saw these warnings again:
"Hill Descent Control Fault"
"Collision Warning Not Available"
"Hill Start Assist Not Available"
The truck idled and drove fine - I punched the gas and drove it hard and it behaved normally. I got to my destination about 5 minutes later and while sitting still letting the truck Idle it came up and said "Hill Descent Control Now Available". It is worth noting that Hill Descent Control was *on* when I re-started the truck but I did not turn it on. I actually had to hunt for the button to turn it off as I never use it.
I pulled the codes and it has a Pending P2112 - 'Throttle Actuator "A" Control System - Stuck Closed'
I also have U024B and U024C which are for the seat control module as well as B109F which is for the driver power mirror fold outward circuit. I'm hoping I don't have an electrical gremlin.
Anybody else seen anything like this before?

Also, your code reader is not capable of reading all codes so it might be more than just the one you found.

I take it that it`s still under the Ford mileage warranty so the best thing for you to do is to take it into the dealer while that warning light is still lit up on the dash.

That said I have a dash cam that recorded the whole incident - and I have video from my phone of the dash with it lit up like a Christmas tree.
I'm definitely taking it to the dealer in the morning.
I would still like to find the TSB so, if applicable, I can have it in-hand when I walk in.

@ 28,214 miles you may be just about due for a spark plug change. The manual says they are good for 100k miles. But a lot of 3.5 Ecoboost owners on the forums have found their trucks run better with 30-40k mile PCIs. @28k you're on the low end of that spectrum, but I bet you'll see some improvement.

Did you find a solution?
Did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem. I have a 2015 F150 with the 3.5L ecoboost, it seems like when I give it a little to much gas it starts shaking and I lose all control of the accelerator. I get the same warnings (Hill descent control fault)( see owners manual ). If I can get pulled over, turn it off, and start it up again, I have no issue.
