Hi all
My f 150 had transmission replaced at 16,500
miles, now at 18,000 it's running at 230° empty, I'm trying to lemon law the truck. I think it's the computer not the tranny, anyone else have a truck that likes to eat trannys?

Be careful with a ford dealer flush. You tube it. These transmissions have a solenoid that needs to be open for a full flush. To open it needs to be hot or operation temperature which actually be your problem. At idle your trans would need to run a hour to get hot enough for a complete flush. I had one done at 30k and the left it with 3 qts high. You are reading right 3 qts. The trans guy said it was OK because they have a shallow pan..... BS . . Everyone I asked said you never have it over full. I had to go under it to suck it out. It does have a dipstick under them. Any way it could be the solenoid that lets it cool properly at least as I have understood them.
The dealer said there is nothing wrong with the truck, the truck is always slipping and banging. I keep asking them why the tranny was replaced if there is nothing wrong with it, the ford staff just shrug their shoulders
