I just happened to be looking at the gear display and I'm almost 100% certain my 6 speed shifted from 3rd to 5th. Skipping 4th. Can't seem to have it happen again. Am I imagining things or are there certain instances it will do this.

I've seen mine skip a gear while gently accelerating down a hill.

 

It's actually quite common.

imagine the thoughts of brand new Corvette owners when they found out their t56 had a device which would skip from 1st to 4th gear under light acceleration
