Hello I recently got a 94 Ford F150 and front tank does not work it will run off the rear tank but anytime I try to start it or switch for running down the road to the front tank it dies immediately I can hear the fuel pump kick on just the same as the rear but I get nothing when I tried to run off of it

 

Need more information.
Do you hear each pump run for one second when selected and the key is turned to the run position?

Without this information it could be a bad front pump (FDM), bad rear pump (FDM) or fuel tank selector switch.
It could also be bad wiring or connectors.
