No Radiator cap driving!!
I just found out the hard way the condition of my cooling system. I checked the coolant two days ago, and ... yes, I admit, I forgot to replace the rad. cap!
It's been in the 90's and 80's. I lost 1.1 gallons of coolant, and the temp never topped 210*. Although it is painful to think about.
It is not something I would recommend.

Great... I'd never forgotten to take the wrench on the crank pulley bolt before starting the engine until you mentioned you did, and now I've done it twice. Now you tell me you left the radiator cap off? How long until I do that?
Glad nothing was hurt and that you caught it quickly enough! Antifreeze is a sticky mess, but cleaning it pales in comparison to what could've happened.
