Here is my first Blackstone using Valvoline Premium Blue Heavy Duty Diesel 15W40. May be showing more wear than the previous 10W30 that was in it.

So I used the Valvoline Premium Blue Heavy Duty Diesel 15W40. It has higher than typical wear metals at ~7,500 interval. Then from some discussions on the org, I realized it was not FoMoCo "approved". The VPB Extreme 5W-40 Synthetic, and the "Heavy Duty" 15W-40 are, and I conflated the two together...

Just changed out the VPB (with all of 844 miles on it) for T6 Synthetic 5W-40 on the approved list. We'll see how this one does.

Hate to ask this question but, what analyst are you guys paying for with Black Stone? Just the standard or are you doing the addons too? I want to make sure that that I'm not over looking something. My on board on the dash just came up to change soon on the first run of Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme. After checking the milage, I'm a little over 6,500 since the last oil change.

On my gas truck I used the standard analysis. Nothing too expensive.

Standard analysis as well. I paid for the TBN at 32,500 miles simply for curiosity and it was 3.0 (5,361 oil).

I do the standard and TBN because I'm curious to how the oil is holding up to different driving conditions at the same change interval.
