The F-150 would probably get better MPGs...depending on what engine and gearing it has. You neglected to mention the power plants...the diesel in the Super Duty is very efficient. That being said...the diesel would cost a whole lot more $$$...negating any fuel savings you might see.

Same engine in both? F150 will get better gas mileage because it is much lighter if the same engine. If you are hauling big loads of wood, dirt, gravel, you will want the F250.I had a short bed 150 and could bottom out the springs with a full load (to the top of the cab) of fresh oak. A ton of soil would do the same thing. F250, no way no how are you hitting the springs even with an 8 foot bed.

Yes, I agree, The F-150 would definitely get better fuel economy. I had F-150 and he is really more fuel economy ford. Sorry for offtop, maybe someone knows where I can look at used double-decker buses? I want to buy it for my business in EU. Thanks in advance

I agree with you guys, F - 150 is a nice one and fuel economy of course. I know where you can look at double-decker buses!
