Brake issues with rear brakes on 2007 F450 CrewCab DRW w/ 19.5 Alcola rims and Firestone tires. Using a all steel Regency hauler bed \ towing a 2014 Voltage 3950 Toy Hauler @ 21,587 lbs loaded. My issue stems from F450 not being the daily driver and disc to pad rust blister's compromising the disc surface of the NAPA disc's with only 21,350 mile on them. I'm need to replace rear disc's and pads. Looking at Power Stop drilled and slotted disc's and there Evolution pads. But in doing research I came across a Power Stop package that is setup for extreme towing. I'm interested if anyone has used them? The package is listed as Power Stop K 5966 - 36 Rear Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit. Drilled and slotted to reduce the heat and pads that have reduced medal to help with the rust issues. I had 80,000 + on OEM brakes without issues but as stated the NAPA premium only 21,000? So much for their fleet premium parts and pieces! Yes I do understand that maybe driving it a little more may have helped prevent the issue. But after three neck surgeries from a broken neck received in a motorcycle accident, the rough ride from the stock rear springs, air bags, and the 14 ply tires takes its toll.Just looking for any and all feed back before purchase.
