Well, I thought for a while there that life had once more gotten in the way. My wife, Patty, has been very ill for the last month. August 3, following a visit to the ER, she was admitted to the hospital. After 3 days she had emergency surgery. She spent 12 or 13 days in the hospital. She has been home a couple weeks now and is improving nicely. We had really wanted to go to the fall festival in Townsend, but after all this we had given it up. Last week she surprised me and asked the Dr. If she could take a weekend trip to Tennessee in a couple weeks. He said she could go, so I called yesterday and reserved a cabin. It's gonna be really strange not having my truck there, but her suv will be a much more quiet and comfortable ride for her. See you guys and gals in Townsend!
