Corequality would you be willing to part with you 3:54 ring and pinion if you find another set?
Going to 2" taller tires will effectively change your 3.54's to 3.33's. This is a lot easier and probably less costly than regearing the rearend. Just something to consider here. And if you don't like the result, it's a lot easier to undo.

In my Dana 60 I upgraded the ring and pinion along with axles to current standards. Randy's world wide is a great place to buy. They do have a online configure page.

I also went with late model 6 spd auto

I have a T-85N R-11 3spd overdrive in my other 66 and absolutely love it. I am running 35 MPG per 1000 RPM. 3.54 not a bad gear with fairly tall tires. I installed 2017 F250 wheels on my 1966 F250. A much better tire selection. Its easy to swap back to the stock wheel if need be.

I am running 255/55R-18's on all four corners. Had that same size on my other 1966 F100 and really liked the ride and handling.

2" increase in tire diameter gets you to 3.86 gear another inch brings you to 3.74

Well there is another problem with 2 inch taller tires. Truck won't work in my trailer. I have about 3/4 to an inch clearance at the top of my door to the top of the frame on the escape door on the trailer. If I go to a taller tire I will not be able to open the door on the pickup and get out.

2" taller tires lifts the vehicle 1". Let a few pounds out and that'll lower it.
