Thanks Rich - that's been my mantra for a while now. Camper actually is set up in the yard - between my place & Mom & Dad's.
Kids came home from school and I was able to get back on schedule. All that's left is to do the final few things with the camper, swing it around with the Durango (shorter wheelbase ), fill the water tank, hot water heater, and prime the black tank.

sounds like dave and rich both are overwhelmed .. the way i am anymore, just waking up in the morning overwhelms me.. ...
i had to take the cam back out of the 460 today..... i tried everything i know, to make it not be the cam!!!!!!! butttt after i got it out this afternoon the 3 cyl.'s i thought maybe would need the pedestals or push rods changed had 1/4" off the lobes..... sometimes i think i should not be allowed play with tools....
i guess i better buy a different type of oil to run in it this time and add some zinc....maybe then i can make it stay running longer than 30 miles after i get it back together this time.........

For all y'all on spacebook, you'll know what I'm talking about here.
Well, ⬇THIS⬇ sure wasn't what I was expecting! Didn't have a picture, was EXPECTING an Earthquake when I clicked on it ― NOT! I found the RIGHT thing, but still, SERIOUSLY?? Big difference!
Alright, I give up! There are TWO different 'Shaker Racing' pages & only 1 is Earthquake. The other one is snowmobiles! I can't get it to post here (U*(&!@*!#$^!+)*()!E#E!%^^*&()_+)*!T^!%^@Y#P) COMPUTERS!!!

Here ya' go, Pat.

My nephew is getting married in a couple hours, so we have to get moving.
I must've left my phone on the trailer tongue or my truck bumper, because I found it squished in the middle of the road on the way in, yesterday. Now I have a "rough service" flip phone. I had the old one for four years, so it was about time for a new one, anyway.

Howdy all. 67 Chevy is out at our son's house in High Point. Next is to get Ms Dent running again and get her out there. 70 SS is primed and might get wet sanded tonight after bowling. Hopefully send it home this coming weekend. Thursday I get a day off for that 50 year old man dr procedure...yuck. Might as well laugh about it rather than whine about it.

We're home after a mostly successful first trip out with the dually.
Alan - you weren't kidding about the stability the dually gives when towing. Couple that with a low revving engine and I was all grins and giggles. We had a bit of a cross wind on the way home and while it was pushing the trailer around a little, it wasn't anything like I had before.
I say mostly successful because I discovered another maintenance task that had been neglected - changing the coolant. I quickly discovered that it would get a little warm (230°F) pulling a long grade and cool back down on the way down the other side. Level road would run about 200 - 210°. I popped the cap after it cooled off and the coolant looked like river water so I'm guessing it's mostly OEM too (as the plugs were).I'm figuring the radiator is partially plugged so I've already got a replacement ordered along with a thermostat and housing gasket.
