I have been asking around FB and other forums with no reply. I have a 17' f150 screw XLT with Sync 3. I dont think it has the Sony system but im not sure. It does not say Sony on the dash or radio at all and doesnt have a sub. Sound is decent at low volume, breaks up bad before I get to 1/2. I ordered Polk for the doors and plan to install them this weekend. I dont think it will be enough. I like accurate tight sound and sometimes (when dog isnt in truck) I like it loud. I think that the Polk speakers will give me enough volume. I dont think they will have enough low end. I am considering the Kicker sub (VGL3Z-18808-A) for behind the back seat. I can get it for $540 and its supposed to plug into factory harness, then has to be "turned on" by dealer or with ForScan. I have never been a Kicker fan. Other similar compact boxes go for less $$$ and are more reputable. Like Alpine or Infinity. Below is my EcoBeast
